Top Southampton Hotel Reviews
Leonardo Royal Southampton Grand Harbour
10/10 Excellent
"Stay was great. Very close to port for cruise. Only one issue, but it was not with the hotel. Concierge scheduled us a taxi for travel to port, literally 6 blocks away. Taxi charged us $20. It was 2 people & 2 medium suitcases, and 2 backpacks that we kept with us. Definitely would recommend using Uber."
Premier Inn Southampton City Centre - West Quay
10/10 Excellent
"Premier Inn (West Quay), in the city centre of Southampton, is a gem for overnights prior to or after a cruise. It is very close to the cruise terminals and has all the advantages being in the centre of the city. Restaurants, shopping, museums and galleries are all walking distance from the hotels. The hotel itself is a simple hotel that is very clean, modern room amenities (including ac) and super friendly staff. Despite being very popular and extremely busy, it was quiet and comfortable in my room. There is a restaurant onsite which served descent food. I highly recommend staying here."
Moxy Southampton

Novotel Southampton

"Nice Hotel close to port."
Harbour Hotel Southampton
10/10 Excellent
"We had a Deluxe King Marina View suite #405. The room is gorgeous and the deck is amazing. Wished we stayed longer than one night to enjoy it. Will definitely stay at this hotel on our next trip to Southampton."
Macdonald Botley Park Hotel & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is dated, but well maintained. The staff were gracious and very helpful. The morning breakfast was amazing. It was an enjoyable stay, to say the least."
ibis Southampton Centre
8/10 Good
"No AC so was hot both nights"
Hilton Southampton - Utilita Bowl
8/10 Good
"We initially booked this hotel because the photos featured a swimming pool. Upon arrival, however, we learned the pool isn't included in the booking as it's managed independently by another company for an extra fee. While we were willing to pay, we then discovered our young daughter wasn't allowed access, which was a major disappointment for our family. The standard room was quite disappointing for a Hilton property, showing visible stains on the carpet and noticeable wear and tear. It was bad enough that we requested a room change; upgrading to a Junior Suite made a world of difference and was much nicer. Breakfast was average. The bacon was tough to eat, and the fresh fruit lacked flavor. On a positive note, the dining staff were exceptionally warm, welcoming, and friendly. If you enjoy cricket or golf, the location is a real highlight. Our room featured a lovely balcony overlooking the cricket pitch, allowing us to watch a live game during our stay. Reception staff were generally professional, though a few felt a bit cold. Overall, without the Junior Suite upgrade, the hotel feels rather average."
Best Western Chilworth Manor Hotel
