Express Suites Riverport Inn & Suites

4/10 Poor

"The only plus to this motel was the staff, checking in the lady working (sorry I forgot her name!) was absolutely 10/10. She was so helpful and friendly. Everything else is awful and extremely overpriced. I don’t even know where to start. Could hear the person above us tossing and turning in their bed. Every single time. The room was gross, sliding door really didn’t open or close. It’s just tired and needs completely overhauled. The breakfast was disgusting, and that is putting it mildly. Can’t speak on the pool or restaurant as I didn’t use either. We will not choose this hotel ever again."

Centerstone Plaza Hotel Soldiers Field - Mayo Clinic Area

"The restaurant I’d first rate. The provided transportation to and from Mayo and surrounding area was first rate. The colonial breakfast was good. The staff support was first rate. The price was a good value. The condition of the hotel was just ok."

Kahler Grand Hotel

"I usually stay at another hotel for my Mayo Clinic appointments and treatment but it was full so I booked at Kaylee Grand due to convenience. When I checked in, all seemed fine until we got to our room. The state of the bathroom was disgusting! Massive amounts of hair on the floor and in the bathtub. We let the front desk know as we were heading to appointments. 4 hours later the room was not cleaned and when we took our concerns to the front desk they were totally dismissed. We asked to speak to management and were told they were unavailable, which was a lie. For someone in cancer treatment at the Mayo Clinic, this is totally unacceptable. People need to see this feedback!!"

"Room was fairly clean. A lot of hair in the drain. Some yellowing in corners of the tub/shower area and some stains on the walls if you look around. Normal wear and tear. Overall, I felt the room was clean but could use a quick detailing. Breakfast options were good. The sausage and potatoes were on the soggy side but was decent. The room was comfortable, and except for some rowdy kids stomping around upstairs until about 11:30pm, it was a relaxing stay. The staff was excellent. Very friendly. The lobby was clean. Rock beds weren't littered with cigarette butts or trash. The dog walking area was picked up and the amenities were generous. I would stay here again."

Med City Inn & Suites - Mayo Clinic Area

"The pool was really dirty. On the side of the side of the pool, you could see people scratching their initials in it through the scum. I was on the first floor and the carpet was damp because of all the condensation while it was really warm or it was leaking or something. The beds weren’t comfortable. The breakfast waffle maker did not work. Although it was not ideal for the cost, I guess you get what you pay for."
