"Asked the valets for directions but they acted like they couldn't even be bothered to answer - very rude and lazy, otherwise everything was great, had some tv trouble and maintenance came quickly and fixed it, gym is great, location is good"

"Ideal location for beach access and some good restaurants. Our room was not as clean as I'd like. Bedding was clean but there were what looked like blood marks on the walls in the bathroom and by front door and the carpet was very dirty but made sense because of the beach proximity. Overall, still an enjoyable stay."

"We stayed on the 6th floor. We had to keep the room freezing cold, or the floors, tables, and even the sheets on the bed were WET from all the Humidity. I have never seen anything like it before and I am from Florida. Otherwise, its a good place for the price. The pool is really nice, but we did not use it."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Houston Marriott Marquis! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent service throughout our stay. The restaurants and bars on the property were fantastic, with great food, drinks, and atmosphere. The highlight of the trip was definitely the Texas-shaped lazy river and pool area. It was such a unique experience and made us feel like we were truly on vacation. The pool service was outstanding as well—attentive, friendly, and quick to help with anything we needed. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to return for another staycation!"

"Our stay at the San Luis Resort was absolutely amazing from start to finish! The property is beautiful, impeccably maintained, and offers stunning views of the Gulf. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and luxurious, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The pool area was one of our favorite parts of the resort, beautiful, inviting, and perfect for spending the day soaking up the sun. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make our stay special. The restaurants on-site were excellent, with delicious food and great service. The location is also perfect, with easy access to the beach and everything Galveston has to offer. Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or a weekend escape, I highly recommend staying at The San Luis Resort, Spa and Conference Center. We can’t wait to come back!"
