"We stayed at The Grand Hotel Eastbourne for a family birthday trip in early July. The building itself is grand and the location is lovely, but a few things fell short for a 5-star property. The bath wasn't as clean as I'd expect, and the carpets in our room looked quite dated. For the price point, I was expecting a more polished finish throughout. We were also overcharged on our bill, which was frustrating to sort out. Nice enough stay overall, but it didn't quite live up to the 5-star billing."

"Lovely aparthotel, very clean in a perfect location just about 12-15 mins to town and even closer to the beach, staff members were very accommodating and friendly. Overall we had a lovely and relaxed stay after our long walk through to Birling Cap and Beachy Head."

"The Hotel da Vinci's location was excellent, both for the seafront and for the theatres, heading into the centre of town for the restaurants and bars. Howard Square was nicely off the beaten track, very quiet with onstreet parking for which the hotel offered guests complimentary permits. My room was huge, if a little 'tired", decoratively speaking, but everything was very clean. Very happy with my stay, thank you!"

"Good breakfast buffet. Room has seen better days, rather shabby. We were on the 4th floor which was very hot, but there was a good tower fan which cooled things down. The shower didn't work, but reception got someone to fix it at some speed. Only the bare minimum printed information in the room - fire precautions, but nothing about facilities, or breakfast times."

"The staff were amazing from the front desk Darcy and mum to the night porter, who could not do enough for us brilliant. Would recommend to all ages and jealous that we’re not still there. "Great location, excellent staff. My room had a wonderful sea view. There was a relatively new carpet and a really comfortable bed, but there were a few cracks in the bathroom sink that needed repair and the paintwork was a bit tired. It didn’t take away from a relaxing stay and would definitely consider it again."
