"When I checked in , I used the toilet which came off its attachment. I notified the manager about it and he asked if I wanted to cancel , I should have taken him up on that. There was no towel rack, unfinished baseboards and an electrical cover that was missing making it unsafe according to housing standards. To make matters worse the manager billed me for damage that I had not done This is a basement unit that needs some work I dont recommend staying here!"

"This place was a more affordable (but still not exactly a bargain!) place to stay right in Banff! You checkin at a fancier hotel down the street and they give you your keys and then you drive over to The Dorthy Motel. It had 2 nice sized beds, a microwave, a small fridge (no freezer area), coffee pot/coffee and a tea kettle. The bathroom had lots of counter space and the shower was great! "Other than the kitchen oven missing the bottom tray barrier between the oven space and the lower storage drawer our stay was wonderful. We stayed in the same unit last year and noted that this oven problem was present last year."
