Southside by Ovolo
4.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (999)
"I arrived to Ovolo Southside early hoping to at least store my bags before check-in, but they gave me a free early check-in! The room was full of unexpected surprises such as the free mini-bar and the cool touchpad in the room that controls your status (do not disturb, request room service, etc.). I enjoyed my stay and would happily do so again, but just be aware of the noise, it could get noisy at some parts of the day."

"The rooms are terrible, everywhere are covered with dust, except beds. TV not working, shower not working properly, some electric sockets have no power, carpets are very very dirty and terrible, you dare not to walk with bare foot. Some rooms are under renovation."

Bluejay Residences
3.5 star property
6.8 out of 10, (263)
"The property was right where we came out at the Lei Tung exit from the South Island line. Look UP to see Blue Jay Residences. Like many hotels in Hong Kong, the room is small, but we enjoy seeing how they make the best use of the space they have. There was a fridge and small closet area with a few hangers. What we really enjoyed was the walks around town. More old fashioned and slower paced than HK the city. The waterfront is busy with junks looking for tourist riders as well as nicer boats. ...
