"The Lighthouse Hotel is in a beautiful and tranquil moss covered landscape/setting with the ocean nearby. The parking and check in were convenient and easy. The woman at the desk was very pleasant and forthcoming with helpful local and Northern Lights information (a map is available at the desk). The room and bed were comfortable and I slept well. They had a refrigerator, hand/body wash, and a hot kettle in the room. A tasty breakfast was included in the price of room. I would highly recommend the Lighthouse Hotel and I will consider staying here with all my future stopovers or stays in Iceland!!! Thank you for making a tired traveler feel welcome and comfortable.
