"Amazing atmosphere and aesthetics at the hotel, great food and drinks and service, and a lot of activities as well. Great if you are looking for a relaxing experience "
"We stayed at The Sandpiper from Tuesday to Monday and had a truly phenomenal time. The hotel grounds are absolutely beautiful and peaceful — the perfect place to relax. What really stood out was the service: everyone on the staff was incredibly kind and attentive. Any time we needed something, they were quick to help, and even if it wasn’t readily available, they found a way to assist. Overall, a wonderful stay and an excellent experience. We hope to return!"
"Dorothy and Mel were absolutely wonderful! Apon arrival we were greeted with ice cold wash cloths, beers, water, 6 eggs, butter, bread and waters! We onlybstayed one night but the communication was super speedy and we had everything we needed! "
"Atlantis is beautiful, the staff are great, and the east coast is a wonderful peaceful place.
We've stayed before and always enjoy our stay.
You'll need a car - there isn't much in terms of supermarket or dining etc nearby, altho "De Garage" is just around the corner and they make some great food and have basic items like snacks etc.
All in all, a great experience as always :)"

"Our stay was fantastic! The staff was very friendly and attentive. Our room was beautiful and more than comfortably fit our family of 4. The pool, beach and grounds were beautiful as well. There are many excellent restaurants very close to the resort. I would highly recommend it!"
"The hotel was beautiful!!! The pool area had comfortable lounge chairs to enjoy the view. While sitting poolside, staff continuously stopped by with cold water to drink, fresh fruit, sorbet,… unbelievable service! Staff were so friendly and our stay was so relaxing. Cobbler’s Cove is a very special place!"

Jan's Villa - 2 bedroom apartment - 5 min from the beach
10/10 Excellent
"But no stranger to this area. Although the decor is a bit tired, the bedrooms had fans (which is a big plus) and everything you need for a self catering accommodation. The property manager Gabriel is such a lovely and helpful person. He manages another apartment that we have stayed in 4 times. It was a public holiday on the day we arrived and I asked Gabriel if he would be so kind to get some shopping in for us and he did, so after being up for over 24 hours, at least we could make a cup of tea and have some sandwiches. Heywoods estate is my favourite place to stay in Barbados. Just 10 minute walk from one of the best beaches and the lovely historical Speightstown. "
Large 4-bed Family Friendly Home with Pool Just 2 mins from Beach - Chindwin
10/10 Excellent
"We had a fantastic stay at the Chindwin house! Our group of 10 people had plenty of room and enjoyed staying here for 7 nights. The pool was great fun after the sun went down, and the big covered porch kept us in the shade and out of the rain. From here we watched the monkeys every morning come down from the trees and walk along the fence line to the front yard. The place was clean and very welcoming. Staff came twice during our stay to clean sheets and towels. Plenty of parking for our two rental cars. The pool was cleaned twice while we were there as leaves would fall in daily. The furniture in the common areas were a bit uncomfortable and dated. These areas also lacked air conditioning, however, there were plenty of windows to open up and get a cross breeze. We didn’t spend much time inside anyway, so no big deal. The bedrooms each had air conditioning and comfortable beds. Blue Scapes was easy to contact during our stay and were quick to respond when we had questions and issues (helped us get into the safe when the batteries died). The house is located fairly close to the ocean and not far from a large grocery store and restaurants. The neighbourhood was extremely quiet, and we felt safe during our stay. For the price and number of rooms, it was perfect for our group and we would stay here again. "
"If you are looking for luxury this is not for you. BUT if you are looking for a perfect beach with chairs/umbrellas provided and a "chill" location, this is it. We've been coming to Barbados for over 25 years and Speightstown is my favorite part. It's got the gorgeous west coast beaches without the obscene Sandy Lane prices. There are literally roosters-hens-chicks on the side of the road; a local large grocery store, multiple small restaurants/bars with live music, and my favorite local jeweler (Tiyi By Design). The unit is great for 2 people. The kitchen is basic and the bed was comfortable. The locked outdoor area is nice and breezy and the beach is literally across a one-way street. what's not to like?"
