There is a beautiful perimeter walk on property, around the golf course and grounds which can include the lake (~1.2-1.5 mile circuit). Nice hotel right on Galway Bay. I visited in late September but would be lovely in summer. Spacious room, good breakfast. Spa services available but I didn’t use them. About 1.5 miles / 25 minute pleasant walk to Galway town center. Large hotel that seems to be used for conferences and meeting point for larger tour groups.

The only issue we had was that our reservation code didn't work so we had a hard time with the automated check in. We did finally get a call back and they were able to help us get checked in. There is not enough parking for everyone, but we were able to park outside the gate both nights with no issues. The door keys will time out at 10:00 am so if you are not completely out you...

OMG! Stay here! Derek was amazing. So kind and helpful with excellent recommendations. Breakfast was delicious and the portions were so large we couldn’t eat it all! Adorable rooms and spotless. So clean. Beautiful grounds. Close to Galway for easy access but out of the crowds. LGBTQ friendly. Will stay again if ever back this way. Thank you!!

We had short but great stay. Pearce welcomed us and gave us all the information needed to be comfortable. We got in around 7 p.m. on a Sunday and he directed us to where we were most likely to find a good meal. The room was very comfortable. We had three and the room fit all of us well. We had not included breakfast, but it was no problem adding it and it was quite good. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to any looking for accommodations in that area.
