"The hotel was impeccably clean, in new condition, a HUGE gym, a quaint indoor pool, a hot & tasty breakfast, quiet rooms, plenty of well lit parking, pet friendly, kind employees, offered a free van/driver to drop off/pick up guests at local places in town (ie: bar/restaurants) and a fair price for the room. We could not get a room in Galena, IL - so we opted for this one in Savanna. Despite 30 miles away from Galena, it was worth every penny and it was an easy/scenic drive to/from Galena. This is definitely the place you want to stay when making a choice. While I'm sure there must be something to complain about - I certainly did not see anything anywhere. We'll be back. And a note to the owner/staff: you are doing it right. BIG THANKS!"
