"We had a great experience at the Plough! We were there for a function and the staff could not have been friendlier! Room was clean and very comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent and a great value at £10. Eady walking distance to centre of town. I would definitely stay again!"

"Had a good night stay, however, the hotel is very dated and could do with a refurb. There is a car park behind the hotel but directions could be better. I had read previous reviews do we were looking out for it! Staff were nice and breakfast was good! It’s a 20 min walk from the hotel to the town centre or maybe about 5 min taxi - we walked and it didn’t seem that long! "

"Great little place to stay with really welcoming and friendly staff. We had a beautiful clean and cosy warm room with all the options as described in our booking. We dined in the restaurant and the food was tasty and well prepared. We would definitely stay here again. Easy walk to some local trails and town was an easy walk or drive down the road. Thank you"

"The guys running the place were very polite and friendly. However, on arrival at about 18.45, one young man was solely in charge. Customers were serving themselves drinks while he was trying to sort out the mechanism on our room door. They had dining guests waiting for tables although restaurant was virtually empty.
