"The hotel is in an excellent post for the Opera house and the centre of Buxton. The cost of parking is £6 for 24 hours with one of their permits. The hotel is very quirky with is uneven floors but this adds to the charm. The breakfast was great. Would stop again. "

"Elegant building, excellent central location, peaceful surroundings, nice views, comfortable bed. One kitchen cupboard was so high that we couldn't reach any small glasses or the cafetiere - had to make do without - even using the steps provided (and we are of average height). Cleaners brought stained towel at changeover day, and left long hairs on our bed when they changed the bedding. But in spite of this we enjoyed our stay."
