"The hotel, breakfast and staff was fabulous however bedroom lacked some basic items/facilities which you would expect in a hotel of this standing such as no bedroom safe for your valuables, no bottled drinking water, no GBnews on the TV. However we are regular visitors to Buxton and look forward to staying at the Crescent Hotel again. "

"Elegant building, excellent central location, peaceful surroundings, nice views, comfortable bed. One kitchen cupboard was so high that we couldn't reach any small glasses or the cafetiere - had to make do without - even using the steps provided (and we are of average height). Cleaners brought stained towel at changeover day, and left long hairs on our bed when they changed the bedding. But in spite of this we enjoyed our stay."

Wasn't keen on open plan bedrooms upstairs, where one could see and hear everything that was said and done in the other bedroom."
