"The hotel has attentive staff. There was always someone greeting or asking if they could help. The room was a good size and tidy. The bed was not comfortable. The breakfast was adequate and coffee plentiful. All in all good value for the money. Terrific location!"

"Excellent,slightly"quirky" hotel. We only chose the smaller double room but it was perfectly fine for one night.lovely bathroom etc,comfy bed. Breakfast was excellent. Mainly continental with small selection of hot English. All very fresh and attractively presented. As an aside,my wife "lost" a valuable engagement ring overnight. Searched everywhere in the room. No trace. Very upsetting. Advised reception and ,amazingly,we received phone call later in the day to say it had been found by housekeeping staff. Relief all round!"

"The suite was lovely. Views over the gardens, lovely en-suite with bath, big shower and double sink. The toiletries were divine. Staff were all very warm and welcoming. We had a great stay!"

"My wife and I stayed at this hotel for seven nights. We loved the location right across the street from the tube and a bus stop. The surrounding South Kensington neighborhood was very nice and felt high-end. The staff was kind and professional. Our room was well appointed. The mattress, bedding and towels were luxurious. We will definitely be coming back when we visit London next time. I highly recommend this property."

"Excellent location! Just 2 minutes walk from Gloucester Road station and approximately 15 minute walk to the Albert Hall. Lovely looking building from the outside and nice welcoming reception area and staff. My only criticism is we were given a room on the lower ground floor and although it’s possibly just a personal thing I would have preferred a higher floor. Aside from this the room was well equipped, the beds were very comfortable and nicely made and there was plenty of space for us. We chose to add on breakfast which was a continental style and perfectly adequate. The staff were very attentive, everything was being replenished regularly so couldn’t fault it for the extra we paid. Overall a great stay and would definitely return if I could be guaranteed a room on a higher floor. "
