"I very much enjoyed my stay. The bed was very comfortable, and for the price and location (right next to Gloucester underground stn & Natural History Museum as well as lovely cafes of South Kensington) it was very good value. The kitchen was perfect for us and the appliances were all quiet, which can sometimes be an issue. The check-in staff were incredibly kind as well. Also, the air con was completely silent! The ONLY issue I had was that the reason we booked this room was for the king sized bed - but upon reading reviews and after looking at their website / connecting with reception, I found out my room time could be either a King or Queen. Also, there is some differences in room size and quality. I think the property should move forward with some better transparency, as I was VERY worried working up to our stay. We were glad that it all worked out and our room preferences were given. "

"We did not have a good experience here, our heating did not work, and we told management who came to fix it quickly but did nothing. Also, our shower was broken and the faucet head fell off multiple times, along with the shower being the smallest enclosed space I’ve ever tried to shower in. The biggest issue that we had with our room was the fact that our sliding bathroom door was see-through and right next to the bed, which made it super uncomfortable to use the bathroom right next to the bed through a see through glass door. Overall, would not recommend; there’s so many better places in London, I would try somewhere else."

"Excellent hotel. Very good location directly outside Gloucester Road tube station and within walking distance of major museums. Cycle hire station also directly outside. Large room and bathroom, good room amenities, only thing I would appreciate would be an actual mini refrigerator instead of a wine cooler that is too warm to store perishables. Despite location close to station, room was very quiet."

"Desk staff nice & housekeeping did a good job, but that’s all that was good.No airport shuttle (“we can call a taxi”) or breakfast as advertised. Water trickles from shower head or shuts off altogether. Toilet had trouble flushing. Carpet worn, fridge broke down, bed hard, tile on floor mismatched and broken. Location to tube was good, but cannot recommend. After I’d asked for top floor, they put me in a sub-ground level tiny room. After complaining, they did move me to a 4th floor, bigger room. "

"Lovely spacious, clean room. Good level of soundproofing, no noise from surrounding rooms. Excellent location 6mins walk from Covent Garden Tube Station & 5 mins from the Adelphi Theatre. Breakfast was good, attentive staff and the usual cooked and continental options"

"I stayed at The Bailey’s Hotel for a week and had a great overall experience. The location is excellent, with easy access to the Tube and plenty of great restaurants just a few blocks away. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive throughout my stay. A special mention to Alex from the restaurant, who took great care of me and made the experience even more enjoyable. The only improvement I would suggest is upgrading the irons and hair dryers. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back."

"Room quite adequate and comfortable but there was an irritating movement-operated light in the room entrance and above the window which came on if anyone got out of bed in the night and stayed on for about 5 minutes. There was no way to turn it off. The bathroom sink also didn't drain away properly, and an electrical socket came away from the wall when a plug was removed. Breakfast was disappointing with fresh fruit consisting only of pineapple and water melon, the hot food buffet selection was overcooked and the coffee was horrible. The staff on the other hand were charming and helpful. Despite the negatives, I would stay again as the common parts were attractive and it was quite good value in a great location."
