Sunset Retreat - 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath Bayfront home with private pool & Hot Tub

This beautiful bayfront home has many things to offer. It has wonderful open views of the bay and is truly a "sunset retreat". The sunset at this home is like no other! View from the spacious deck or from the private pool or hot tub. Any way you like, you will be amazed and simply fall in love with this home!

The home accommodates 6 people.

The floor plan is open and spacious. WiFi throughout the home. It is a very roomy 2 bedroom, 2 bath. Bedroom one has a king bed with master bath that includes a walk in shower. Bedroom two has a set of twin bunk beds and a queen bed with the second bathroom right outside the bedroom door.

The kitchen has been fully renovated with stainless appliances and is fully stocked with anything you should need for your stay. Plenty of utensils, pots, pans, a Keurig, a regular coffee pot, baking pans and more.

There is a private dock you can tie your boat to if needed. The dock has a fish cleaning sink and electricity as well as a bench for fishing from the dock or just relaxing by the water!

Under the house is a game room with a full size pool table, a picnic table, hot tub and outdoor shower. There are also bikes in the game room area for your use. The backyard is fully fenced for your furry friends.

Sunset Retreat is only minutes from local restaurants and shopping and beach access is only a couple blocks away.

**There is a flood light camera that faces the driveway only** No other cameras are on the property.

Beautiful property on the bay with an awesome outdoor area. Great fishing nice dock with fish cleaning station. We could ride the bikes to the beach and light house. Would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed out stay at Sunset Retreat. The home is very attractive, comfortable and has an incredible view of the bay. The family enjoyed fishing from the dock, playing pool in the rec are and riding bikes that were provided. The property is fenced so our pups were safe and could enjoy the sand and sun!

Perfect Getaway!

Everything was exactly as advertised. The views from the dock were perfect for dolphin sightings and amazing sunsets. No need to battle the crowds on the beach or pier because you have access to catching all the fish you want right in the backyard.No need to look any further for the perfect getaway for you and your spouse or if you want to bring the family down. We loved the view from the main living area. It was a non stop view that didn’t disappoint. The kitchen had everything we needed for meals and we ate all there except one lunch. Easy walk to the beach. Plenty of room and perfect with one dog accompanying us.

Sunset Retreat (a little piece of paradise!)

Our stay was wonderful and relaxing thanks to the host supplying all the comforts of home. So quiet and peaceful with amazing views. It's a wonderful house that actually feels like a home. Listing is accurate and the pictures don't do the view off of the dock justice. Kitchen was well stocked and newer appliances. We really loved this property!!! The view was amazing...BEAUTIFUL sunsets!! loved fishing on the dock, saw dolphins every day, relaxed in the jacuzi and we enjoyed the swimming pool!! The view and amentities were outstanding. I would 100% stay here again. The house was perfect for two couples to have their own space and bathroom. The kitchen/living room all flowed together for time with the family. The deck and dock were great for gathering and relaxing as well. The dock does have a fence that you can pull across the opening so the dogs don't get out. We saw dolphins playing in the bay on our first day. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing. We didn't use the pool because it was too cold for us. The only thing we would have done differently was bring our own groceries. There is a Piggly Wiggly express in the gas station, but it's small and expensive. The closest Walmart is about 1.5 hours away. There is a larger Piggly Wiggly in Apalachacola, but it was still small and relatively expensive. I suggest bringing your own food staples if you plan to make your meals at home. The meat at the butcher was great. Some of the best grouper we had was purchased from the Piggly Wiggly Express and cooked at home.

After we cleaned the house it was more comfortable. Quiet location. Beautiful sunsets. Nice pier Hot tub has been neglected for a LONG time. We added water (H2O was below filters) added chemicals and scrubbed the scum line. Filters need replaced unfortunately we only rented this place because of the hot tub and sunsets. Comfy couch and beds. Great TV. Great kitchen fully stocked. The potential is there to have a truly wonderful rental but the cleaning crew needs replaced and the amenities need better maintenance.

Very Relaxing Vacation

You can't go wrong staying here. For the most part, this is a great property. Heather is easy to communicate with and is very responsive. There are a few things that need attention and hopefully after the summer rental season, they will be taken care of. Those things are the tiles in the main living/kitchen area are loose in places and 1 of them is cracked and the sink's faucet on the dock is plugged up such that the water pressure is only suitable for washing your hands. The sprayer doesn't work, so cleaning up is very difficult. I had to bring a bucket of fresh water out there to clean up. As for fishing off the dock, the fishing is good but don't fish straight out because boats come zooming by close in and will snag your line. Ask me how I know. The only safe way to fish is off to the side away from the bay (left as you walk out). Even then, be watchful and don't cast beyond the white stake. Fishing like that, I was able to catch 3 keeper sized reds and a few trout. I also caught 2 reds that were too big to keep and 2 sea monster sized reds I couldn't get all the way in. I used a carolina rig and finger mullet steaks on a 1/0 hook, if that helps at all.
