Howards Way - a cottage that sleeps 5 guests in 2 bedrooms
Ideally situated in the heart of the old fishing area of Downalong, Howards Way provides the perfect get away destination for those wanting a holiday in a traditional Cornish setting. The cottage is within minutes of the main beaches, harbour and the town. Built over 3 floors and sleeping up to 5 people, Howards Way has ample space throughout. The modern kitchen has been fitted to a high standard and is well equipped for the self-caterer. Whether you're looking to enjoy a summer beach holiday or an out-of-season getaway exploring the great Cornish coastline Howards Way provides a beautiful and comfortable backdrop for your stay.
Lower Ground Floor
Kitchen. Modern and well equipped with split electric oven/induction hob, extractor fan, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. Quartzite worktops with ample cupboard space. Casual cushioned bench seat.
A small area outside provides an occasional sunspot, away from any through traffic, with patio table and chairs provided.
Dining area. Caters for 5 people comfortably. Flat-screen TV.
Shower room. Modern electric shower, wash hand basin, WC and electric shaver point.
Ground Floor
Sitting room. Double aspect room benefiting from plenty of natural light throughout the day. Fitted with comfortable armchairs, 2 x settees, coffee tables, flat screen HD TV, Blu-ray DVD and video players. Feature granite wall and fireplaces.
First Floor
Bedroom 1. King size bed, bedside cabinets and built-in wardrobe. Ample storage space.
Bedroom 2. Triple bunk bed with 4'6" lower double bed and 3' upper single bed suitable for children or adults.
Bathroom. Contemporary bathroom incorporating bath/shower, wash hand basin, vanity unit and built-in WC, over sink mirror with integral light and shaver point. Heated towel rail.
Additional Information. Electric radiators. Access to all floors via stairs which may not be suitable for those with limited mobility.
One small dog allowed on the lower ground floor only with its own dog bed or preferably dog crate for sleeping in.
