The design was a good blend of modern luxuries with traditional nordic touches. They missed no detail of the alpine theme. "Kamppi is a lively area. Near the hotel, there are lots of shops and restaurants. There is also a supermarket next door, which is very convenient.
The room is clean and modern. The photos on the web may be slightly confusing, as some are taken from other rooms. Still, the rooms should be big enough for one or two people. I love the sauna room on the top floor, too, which is very clean.
However, if you book via Expedia and arrive in Helsinki extremely early (I arrived before 6am), there may be a chance that you will not get the door code right away. The staff told me that Expedia only paid them at 7am, and they could only provide me with the door code for luggage drop off after the payment. I contacted the staff for that, and the communication was smooth. "
