6/10 Okay

"Front desk staff was very personable. However, later in the afternoon when it was prime check-in time, there was only one front desk staff and many people waiting. Seemed poor planning on management’s part, especially since it was a Thursday evening with a wedding rehearsal dinner taking place. Overall the property was just very different than pictures depicted online. There was active construction, the property seemed dated and not as clean and “newly renovated” as the website portrayed. The bar, Jimmy B’s, was fun on the surface but upon closer examination was EXTREMELY dirty (just to the naked eye looking behind the bar areas) and had an obvious odor to it. Was fine for a quick one night stay but I would not go back or recommend."

"Hotel was okay. DO NOT book if you need an accessible room. There aren’t any. Wheel chais can’t get into any bathroom or access the beach. Had to use a long ramp beside hotel. Had to change propertys to even get a room that bathroom was big enough to use. Chairs they advertise are a long way from the beach. You have to rent their chairs umbrellas etc. can’t even bring your own. Retro style was kinda neat. Rooms were nice if you are mobile. Did get resort fee refunded and comp umbrella and chairs. Still waiting for it though. Eva was tremendous trying to help and was always there when needed. Pretty much wasted the first day trying to find a room that the wheelchair would fit. Still had to improvise to get wife in the bathroom. Like I said, don’t stay here if you need an accessible room room."

"The service was horrible from the second we stepped foot on their property until a week after we checked out. We are normally budget vacationers, so we don't need much, but we decided to splurge for the suite with Ocean view, it ended up being very outdated but that was fine with us. As we pulled into the property, we were stopped at the guard's shack. The gentleman asked for our name, looked it up and told us to park off to the left and go in a particular door. After waiting at the desk, they tell us we're at the other hotel in the parking lot next door, great start! We take all our luggage in 90-degree heat across the parking lot and wait in another line. We head to our room and we're now a quarter mile away from where we were told to park. My wife and I go to take showers and the drain immediately clogs and you have to continue turning the water off every 60 seconds. So, I pickup the phone to call the front desk, it doesn't work. The next morning, I go back to the office we got our key from and they're closed. I have to continue walking further over to the first office which is over 500ft walk each way and tell them about the drain. 24 hours goes by and nothing is done about the drain. I make another long walk back to the desk to tell them for a 2nd time. The same gentleman at the desk didn't seem concerned at all, didn't apologize and just said, we'll send them out. Limited space here, rest on their Google review. Complete failures"
