"Great hotel. Great location for the Utilita Arena, bars and restaurants. The bed was very comfy and there was great facilities- a bar, breakfast available/ room service, pool, hot tub and steam room can be used for free. We also used the pool when we wanted, we didn’t have to book. Check out was 12pm which is great as most hotels are around 11am. The only thing is the queue for check in was long, we waited around 20 mins. You can only check in until middnight. "

"An excellent place to stay for a night. Easy to park, check in was quick and friendly,my room was beautifully presented, very clean bathroom,excellent shower.The bed was very comfortable, I slept extremely well.What more can I say? It was also easy to find."

"Very nice old building. Toilets wouldn't flush. Water flow far too slow and weak. No breakfasts available at all! I've never seen a hotel of this apparent quality that doesn't make any form of breakfast! TV is literally a 15 inch screen. "

"Clean and well kept room. Good location a few minutes walk from Cathedral area. Parked in the B4 multi story parking (2-3 minute walk from hotel) and you get a discount entering your reg at hotel reception. Good breakfast."

"The room was a little tired but ok for what we paid. We were hoping to get room service when we arrived but that didn’t appear to be a thing since there was no menu (or any other hotel information) in the room. We headed to the restaurant where we were waited on by a lovely young lady (Matilda?) However, the food was not good at all. The menu was very limited and uninspiring. We were served the driest pork belly bites we’ve ever tasted (like they’d been reheated multiple times), brown salad leaves, stale, toasted bread sold as focaccia and it wasn’t cheap. Unfortunately breakfast wasn’t much better with multiple items run out (no sausages and minimal beans) despite it not being busy. When I mentioned this to one of the staff there was no apology, just an acknowledgment (which I believe was acted on but too late for us). I’ve stayed multiple times in another De Vere property which has always been fantastic. This one falls way short of the same standard. It was fine for a basic stop over but nothing more."

"I had requested ground floor this had been accepted but I had stated near lift if not possible, was told would be ground floor but was put on first and not near the lift! Issue with heaters in room but felt wasn’t dealt with properly! Room sizes were good, facilities within the room were good, having tv set to a loud number was an issue especially when up very early and put tv on would wake neighbours "
