"Firstly, the properly hasn’t been thoroughly cleaned in a very long time. I have some quite disturbing pictures of the grime and mould that is everywhere in this property. Secondly, they did not have a cot for my son despite the fact I called and ordered one a week beforehand. Both my husband and I had to take it in turns to protect him on the bed whilst he slept so he didn’t roll off. Words cannot describe how dissapointed we are."

"Our lodge was brilliant, lots of space inside, robes and plenty of towels for the hot tub. Staff were so friendly and helpful and everything was delivered and looked after perfectly. Lodge was really well equipped with everything we needed. Location wise being only 4 miles from Alton Towers was perfect for us and felt like a million miles away after a full day in a busy theme park. Would highly recommend staying in these lodges."

"Hot tub, wonderful. I love that it was hidden away so our 3 year old didn’t have a meltdown she couldn’t use it! We used it on an evening when she fell asleep (with someone in the lodge of course). Kitchen has all appliances you need, cutlery, towels and complimentary tea/coffee/sugar and some body wash etc. Even a welcome pack for the dogs!"

"The lodge was very well equipped and cosy, the hot tub was great. There were several cobwebs in the bathroom that had been missed in cleaning and a couple of items left in the dishwasher but not a huge deal. The property would benefit from some cosmetic updating and there was only 1 cushion between 2 sofas but overall a great stay."
