"This is a really nice, out-of-the-way place. It is part of a working farm but is very quiet indeed. The owner (Jane) is very attentive and a very good cook (the breakfast was particularly excellent). If you're looking for some peace, and some old-fashioned hospitality, this is a really great option."
"large room and shower room, large bed, clean. lovely view over Richmond. However, shower room tired and needs refurb, the view is marred by old bits of wood and rubbish on the path outside the window. The surrounding gardens and access path need clearing of discarded equipment, and general rubbish. "

"Seamless communications prior to arrival: thrilled with quality of the cottage interior/ garden space and seating area. Very full welcome basket including all sorts of local treats plus staples in the fridge which is very considerate. Good eco considerations too. Location is perfect ; within walking distance of great coffee / food at Dales bike centre or local Inns but so quiet and nicely away from any hustle and bustle. Acceptable walks too Definitely will be back. "

"The cottage is in the perfect location. Two pubs and several cafes are within walking distance and there are also several walks on the doorstep. Reeth is an excellent spot to base yourself for exploring the dales. The cottage itawl"

"This cottage is set in the perfect location to explore this part of Yorkshire. However the property needs updating in the kitchen and bathroom to reach an acceptable standard!!"
"Really enjoyed our visit on 11th April. Booked the Keld room for one night. 3rd visit to the hotel. Very comfortable room on the first floor looking down to the front garden and moors opposite. Hotel has a rear garden with superb views as well. No lifts on property. Excellent service, superb breakfast. Many rooms have seperate bathroom ( private ). Haven't had an evening meal here. Think its more fine dining than traditional " pub grub ''. Limited wines by the glass. Bottles approx 45- 90 pounds. The 2 wines we tried by the glass were mediocre to be honest. Visit coincided with fantastic weather conditions so a brilliant break. Would definitely recommend a stay at the Burgoyne in Reeth. The best position in the area."

"Lovely cottage in Fremington. Nicely furnished and exactly as advertised. Kitchen has a washer/dryer which is very handy and a dishwasher. Nice bathroom with shower over bath and plentiful hot water. Beds really comfortable and loads of space upstairs. Underfloor heating in lounge was a treat and wood burner lovely on a cold February night. Enclosed front garden, made it easy for the dogs and would be nice to sit out in the summer. Good location.right in between Grinton and Reeth, both easily walkable. Would highly recommend and will stay again."
