"No one can ever say this hotel is clean and no matter if its dated and old it should NEVER be dirty hairs left on shower walls and bathroom floor absolutely disgusting. Rooms smell of cigarettes"

"Great hotel in the heart of Canterbury. Had a cot set up for us on arrival. Bed really comfy and shower great. Breakfast was excellent, highlight being the waffle machines. Parking wasn’t an issue for us as we used the park and ride which took 5 minutes and was a 5 minute walk to the hotel so really convenient and only £4 a day vs £25 a night if parking in the city. Staff were all lovely. Loved how they respected history when building the hotel with the ground window in the lobby showing the theatre ruins below. Would definitely stay again on another trip to Canterbury."
