It feels very remote but at the same time is close enough to drive or jump the train into Newcastle for the day. It was great sitting around the firepit in the evening after a soak in the hot tub! Plenty here for the whole family we would definitely stay again. "

"Stayed for one night just wanted a peaceful break and had an excellent experience. The grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. We stayed in the chesterfield suite and the room was immaculate and cozy. They provided chocolate and strawberries as we were celebrating a big birthday which was a lovely surprise on arrival. Our evening meal was delicious and very filling and the service was great. Felt very safe and comfortable as well as being very quiet so great to get away to relax. No complaints from our stay and will definitely be returning. "
