"Very clean room and hotel. Staff were friendly. The bed for me tho was incredibly soft. So too were the pillows. Breakfast was good. We enjoyed our stay but the bed for me didn’t help me have a decent nights sleep due to how soft the mattress was."

"We liked the unique location in the geothermal river valley and the views from the room. Hot tubs were appropriate for the location and very relaxing. Staff were helpful and the breakfast buffet was good. Dinner in the restaurant was great, with several options that were cooked using the hot springs."

"Our family of 4 was very happy with our stay at this property! It is located in a quaint little town on the southwest coast and conveniently located close to the Golden Circle, close enough to the airport and Reykjavic, and 15 minutes to nearby Selfoss, which is a bigger town with a fine selection of restaurants to start and end your day at. The property owners are incredibly thoughtful, hospitable, with excellent communication. Start to finish, we could not have picked a better place to stay during our Iceland trip. The kitchen was well furnished, the beds and sheets were comfy, the view from the upper deck is amazing, the hot tub out back is welcoming and relaxing, and heated floors are a very welcome luxury! We loved having a washer and dryer and plenty of clean towels. There is a somewhat steep ladder that provides access to the upper deck. This was not a problem for us, but anyone with mobility issues, will need to consider this aspect. Overall, this is an OUTSTANDING property for your Iceland visit."
