"Excellent pub with rooms above, ac was great after being out in the sun all day."

"This is not a Premier inn, but had character and I slept really well even though the pub faced an A road. My room had been fairly recently decorated I'd say. There was a little kettle in the room, with tea bags and coffee. Small TV , and ensuite toilet and shower. A lovely breakfast was included in the price, which was very reasonable. Nice owner. "The pub is an old building, therefore there are things that cannot be changed, so if you are a light sleeper and cannot use ear plugs this may not be for you. It was not an issue for us. We had a meal in the restaurant which was lovely but we did have a substantial wait (45+ minutes) which we were not warned about. Overall a lovely place to stay, I would go there again."
