"We chose this hotel for the location. And it did not disappoint. We walked to the village, the marina to rent a kayak, alpine slides and several restaurants. We knew ahead of time about the construction and the pool being closed. So I did not account those things into my review. We stayed in the hotel portion with a queen bed. It was clean and comfortable. Although we didn’t use them, I liked the option of the fridge and microwave in the room. We did hear quite a bit through the doors/walls, but mostly outside of quiet hours (they do provide earplugs!) And we utilized white noise. The staff in the office were welcoming and very helpful. We look forward to coming back next summer to see the completed upgrades."

"The room didn’t have air conditioning. The hotel gave us a fan to try and keep the room cooled off. Our room was on the third floor. The staff was wonderful and they went out of their way to accommodate us. The location was great."

"Everything was great! Friendly staff, Beautiful location. Great view. The restaurant was great. Walking distance to the Village. Short drive to everything else. Only problem was our AC unit started leaking onto the floor. They were very apologetic and tried to fix it right away but the problem did continue until we left. They did give us a discount for the inconvenience. Besides that I highly recommend this hotel! We will return!"

"Staff was great in accommodating my request to stay an extra night. AC was great, heat was great, fridge and TV also great. I did not use internet, (I did not intend to) was a nice pleasant escape. Most things I was interested in were within walking distance. Pool was clean and deep, most places don't have deep pools anymore. SPECIAL call out to the guy who checked me in, I did not get his name. The property does need some TLC, and cleanup, but nothing which would prevent me from visiting again, probably soon."

"Front desk faces Moonridge and is open until 5. Kameron was helpful. Parking spaces are not large, consider driving a medium SUV or a smaller vehicle when you stay here. Slow down; easy to overshoot the two entrances from Moonridge. I stayed in the Crabapple room that faced the main road. While I felt safe, I did not want to open the window due to road noise. No fridge, microwave, or closet in room. Attractive decor throughout; it looks a bit overwhelming on the photos but is quite relaxing. The staff confirmed that the owner has a clear vision of what the decor should be. A couple had a wedding on the Saturday; they and some guests stayed overnight. It was good to see some of the wedding party at breakfast! The Inn could adjust the security light to not switch on whenever someone drives down Moonridge. The road is busy, so the security light stays on until after midnight and then goes on and off."
