The staff was not rude or mean, but they were not welcoming or even properly informative of anything. They gave off the feeling that I was an inconvenience. Getting full information or explanations felt like pulling teeth. Even accounting for personalities or a possible off day, I still prefer a more welcoming staff and may decide to stay elsewhere on future occasion. "

"The check-in staff would not match internet pricing, necessitating booking online while right there at the counter. That seemed pretty ridiculous. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. But it was hard to figure out how to turn off some of the lights in the room. The breakfast was cold and tasteless. "

"Door was not easy to lock with doorknob lock and that was an issue since there was no deadbolt. No person at location for check in. It took a trip across town to get a room key from the desk guy of another hotel. Rustic is the vibe they were shooting for, but I would just call the overall condition old and tired. Expedia would not let me post the picture I took of the chair in the room that looked more like a refugee from a landfill that a piece of hotel furniture."

"Worst hotel/motel I have ever stayed. Condition of room, flooring, plumbing-all was horrible. Outside of room, cigarette butts littered the window sills and floor. Receptionist may? have spoken some English. Apparently some “short term” residents at the property. I slept in my clothes on top of bed spread as I didn’t trust cleanliness. Cheap but…"
