"The place is nothing like the pictures its old elevators have been out for a while and they didn't tell us.iam 66 years old I cant carry suit cases up stairs."

"The room was clean however the air conditioned wasn’t working, told the front desk and they sent someone up, the one on the wall wasent working so had to use the manual one. The toilet was clogged when arriving to the room, called the front desk and they sent someone up. I requested towels to my room at 8:15 am, I watched the lady write my room number down and the word towels, I get back at 4:45 later that day and have no towels sent to my room. This was all in a span of 24 hours. Other than that great location, clean, pool bar, walk to the beach, have balconies and a restaurant. "

"This hotel not only was clean, it had amenities like a pool, breakfast, WiFi, nice indoor and outdoor spaces, and great customer service. It also was across the parking lot from the Holiday Inn Resort which had a nice restaurant and bar. Most importantly, it was walking distance to Gate three where we boarded the Carnival Cruise line. It is literally across the street. I highly recommend this place."

"We were very pleased with this small resort. Everyone was so friendly. They had so many fun outdoor events (live music, pool bar, lawn games, outdoor movies and of course a beautiful pool). We loved feeling like we were in the Caribbean at this adorable little spot. Definitely would come back. Bathroom in our room could have used an updated but definitely not a disappointment as it’s a beach hotel. Very clean!"

"What a disappointment. We have stayed at La Quinta many times, but this hotel was a dump. We ended up in a bottom room that was supposed to be oceanfront, but all we saw out our window was a berm of grass and weeds. It also was where people walked their dogs. The walk to the beach had all kinds of trash and garbage. The beach was nasty. We ended up being put at the end of a hall which overlooked the hotel next-door who was having a motorcycle convention. Very noisy. The people next-door kept trying to open the adjoining room door. There was also not a chain on the door. We really did not feel safe here. Probably my last time staying at this chain again."
