"I want to share an honest review of this place. Getting there is rough, though not the owners’ fault—the mountain drive is intense but worth it, and an easier route from Mayagüez should be mentioned, along with advising guests to arrive before nightfall. The property is absolutely stunning and impeccably clean; this is a wilderness-style accommodation, and the flowers, animals, and weather make it truly enchanting. The staff is very young but sweet and kind, pleasant when service was needed, though often appearing unmotivated; the dining room view is beautiful. Unfortunately, the administrator was not welcoming and did not greet us proactively. The food was disappointing—served cold, overly salty, uninteresting, with no desserts offered; the best item I had was an egg sandwich. That said, the coffee alone is worth the visit. This place is beautiful, but being so remote, good food is essential. I was raised in Mayagüez, live in the States, and am a chef with hospitality experience. I left one night early despite having paid, and I truly hope improvements are made because the place has great potential. "

"The Staff didn't really Speak English. No breakfast. Not a real hotel but time share. Calling the front desk before and after check in and out was hard."

"The room was great, clean, with a refrigerator. The staff was very helpful. We were there on a quiet weekend and only the primary gate to the university was open. Our gps kept taking us the closed gates. Staff stayed with us on the phone until they got us through the primary gate. "

Our visit was packed with personal errands, so we didn’t get to slow down and enjoy the calm setting as much as we would’ve liked. Just make sure to bring along the essentials you’ll need, since getting into town takes a little planning — but if you’re staying put, the tranquility here makes it easy to unwind."

"Clean, really missed having hot water.. and the pool was so cold we couldn’t use it. Beach chairs were awesome to have! And beds were comfy! Very nice owner too! "

"Arrived at night, was not expecting entrance in gravel with uneven surface. Instructions on finding the keys were not offered, not expecting to enter by the back door. Nor was expecting dumpster at the entrance, not sure if the entrance was to a private house at the back. There's no a/c at living troom and the speakers for tv were not connected (no sound)"

"The house was super cute but very dark and not a lot of lighting. There was 2 lizards and a dead roach in the house and the neighborhood/area was pretty sketch. The pool is more of a jacquzzi but still very nice, but the jets didn’t work. Otherwise, it was nice and cold and private. "
