"The room was okay, ready for us and easy to get into with the key box. We found parking in front of the building. Easy to walk down to the waterfront from the place"
"Very well located to local attractions. The national Park, the waterfall, the glacier hikes. There is a hidden path tha leads to the glacier end just at the pack. Less than 2km hour and beautiful, and flat. Shop, petrol station and restaurant across the street are a plus."
"Very nice hotel with an amazing view. The rooms were clean and the sofa bed was fully opened and made with sheets and blankets for our daughter. It was surprisingly very comfortable. The restaurant is very nice as well. The dinner was excellent and the breakfast buffet included a large assortment of options"
"This hotel is located in a very remote area, and it is understandable that no hotel staff is available on site and we need to do self-check-in. The room was clean and well-maintained. One thing that could be improved is the breakfast (actually no breakfast). It would be very helpful if the guests at this hotel could use the restaurant of the affiliate hotel across the road (Route 1) as default, without request from the guests."
"Such a great space!! The sleeping loft could have used a curtain to help block out the sunlight but other than that it was a great space! Loved the waterfall behind the house and easy drive to the glacier lagoon."
"A wonderful location with its own waterfall and bridge walk. The host was extremely helpful with suggestions, directions and made our stay easy and enjoyable. I would not hesitate to stay there again."
"The property is a little run down but it has everything you need. We stayed on the first floor, the bathroom and the shower worked fine. Some of the old reviews we looked at talked about issues that it looks like have been fixed. We had multiple power outlets in our room. You could hear folks on the second floor above but they quieted down before long. The kitchen area and common area is nice and they provided coffee to make which was great for the morning. It is about an hour from Skaftafell Park which is mostly convenient. I saw to check in at the hotel so that was not an issue. I think the price could be a bit less for what you get. Below $200/night and this would be a 5/5 review."
