"The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. The hotel was in a good location for tours and the town of Vik. We did not eat at the restaurant as it was quite expensive but that is common across Iceland."

"The hotel is rural but looks nice with a beautiful area around it. Our room was very small however and for the price I was expecting more. The breakfast was included with the stay and was tasty. The staff was friendly. The true highlight was seeing the auroras for the first time. "

We did not eat dinner here so can’t comment on quality but prices are very high. A great location between Vik and Hofn with access to all the spectacular natural sites. "

"Beautiful location. Cabin is spacious facing a lake. Very beautiful. Heated floor, friendly staff. The onsite dinner is outstanding! Great place to see northern light. Unfortunately we did not see one during our stay. The only complaint is hot water in the shower only lasted about 10 minutes then ice cold. The breakfast is limited and dull. "
