"Parking was secure although access was tight. One member of staff had a lukewarm attitude, others were lovely. Our room hadn't been decorated for a very long time and the bathroom was tiny. "

"Lovely hotel in a wonderful location. Don't be put off by it's roadside position. The rooms are located at the rear of the hotel, with stunning views overlooking the river and Abbey. Our room had french doors out on to the riverside. Super friendly and courteous staff. Look forward to staying again"

"Room had a great view. Ideal location to nip in to the new forest but also wasy to get too. Nice indian restaurant next door, but even better pub round the corner in nomansland called the lamb. Hostess was great and full of helpful ideas on where to go."

The only improvement could be the toilet in my room. The pointless cabinet under the sink needs removing so that taller guests can actually sit comfortably and the flush was poor. Otherwise a lovely stay and I would recommend and go again for sure. "
