"The house was comfortable and the fact the owners live next door makes it easy to sort out any problems that do occur. It is in a rather remote location so it is very peaceful but going anywhere requires a car trip. If you are tall (I am 1.90m) you have to be careful of the low doorways on which I banged my head several times. "Mill cottage is a very cosy and comfortable cottage in a quiet and peaceful village just a pity could not stay longer The cottage was perfectly clean and very well equipped The welcome pack was very much appreciated as we didn’t arrive until late on but Alastair the owner had heating on and outside light on for us arriving Very accommodating host"

In the local area we had an interesting walk at the nearby country park, and visited the community cafe at Antrobus. We also drove to Stockton Heath for a canal walk. Harriet was a very thoughtful and responsive host."

"The Alan Hotel was a lovely place to stay while in Manchester. It is in a great central location, a 10 minute walk from Piccadilly, the room was spacious, the bed was so comfortable-I slept like a log. The staff were really friendly and helpful and I would definitely stay here again if I find myself back in Manchester. "
