"We’ve been staying here for our anniversary regularly for some time now even when it was the Lake Tahoe Resort. We’re happy with this place. It was a great stay. One issue of concern: on the morning of check out, I walked down to the lobby looking for a luggage cart and asked the vallet manager for one. He reluctantly gave me one and was questioning if I was ready to leave right away instead of keeping it in my room. I’m on vacation and it felt like an interrogation. He made me mad but I didn’t want to get worked up. This department needs some work."

"Very good price. Clean and well maintained furniture.Air conditioner is working perfectly and quiet. Convince location near the casinos, restaurant and lake just 10 minutes away from the hotel. Specialy I love it kitchen. Provide everything I need."

"Checkin was simple enough and the room was nice and basic. Great place for a quick trip, the HVAC was random on its settings and was super hot then cold but we survived. Asked for extra towels to which they were not delivered."

Pepper Tree Inn

"We were hesitant at first after we read all the bad reviews but we were happy once we got there. We were on the 6th floor with the beautiful view of the lake. The building is dated and needs a lot of work to make it up to date. The beds are okay with clean sheets. The bathroom with the shower is just the right size and with white clean towels. The staff are nice. The building is in the middle of Tahoe City walking distance to all the restaurants and shops and most especially to the lake. We got there early since we need to be at the church wedding by 2pm. We were directed to go to Basecamp (their sister company) so we can change and get ready for the wedding since Pepper Tree Inn staff won’t be there till 3pm. We were very happy with our stay at Pepper Tree Inn."
