"Nice basic room, the hotel is in a bit of an industrial area but still had nice views."

"Self check in was fine, however there was only a phone number to contact, never saw any staff in the hotel except for one when walking past at breakfast. Stayed Saturday & Sunday night, and hardly slept both nights. Saturday, a restaurant next door had music playing until midnight which was fine, what was not expected was to then hear music afterwards from a DJ(?) which sounded like it was coming from below the hotel. "At first I was a little skeptical as this hotel is self-check in and I was concerned about accessing my room however I was pleasantly surprised and very happy that I selected Giessen Hotel and Coffeehouse! There were easy to use directions to check in and the ability to self code a key or more was super easy. The room was clean and comfortable. The best part was breakfast! It was by far the most enjoyable breakfast experience we have had in our travels. The Coffeehouse assigned our table by room number so finding a space was not a problem. The self select menu was perfect and allowed for as much food as you could eat. After you make your breakfast selections, give the list to the staff and they take over. The service was quick and the food was fresh and delicious! The coffee was wonderful and I highly recommend the Ginger Lemon shots! The hotel is also centrally located so getting to the the surrounding sites was also very easy! I highly recommend a stay at the Giessen Hotel and Coffeehouse. "
