"Items in the room were damaged and very worn. we paid extra for a pool side room. I didn't know the pool was used for kids parties. The screaming didn't stop. The pool doesn't close until 10 pm. The smell of chlorine was overwhelming. The food at the restaurant was terrible, the service was great. The final straw was the adjoining room fight and someone threatening to stab another person. We left and went to another hotel. There were no other rooms to move to. The hotel did not refund and the additional insurance I paid for wouldn't refund due to my "high standards""

"The room was nice it was very clean staff was helpful we got in late so we didn't get to enjoy many of the amenities but the beds were great which to us was the most important."

"Stores and restaurants were nearby. Room was clean. Staff upgraded my room to 2 beds, instead of 1 king size bed for no extra charge. Staff was friendly and helpful. Keep up the great work. Thank you."

"Didn’t stay long enough "

"We had a great 3 night stay. They offer coffee 24 hours a day. On Tuesday,Wednesday and Thursday they have from 5:30 to 7:30 at night a “social” where they serve food. A small salad bar and some hot dishes. Essentially serving breakfast and dinner for 3 nights! The lady running the social is not only super nice but she’s also preparing the food from scratch! The room was very clean as was the hallways and lobby. "

"We had a very short stay. Came into Grand Rapids to have surgery in the morning at the hospital across the street. We were very well cared for by staff. Also, very pleased with competitive pricing."
