There were some type of kids sporting events going on so there was one night where they were loud and I could hear them through the walls and there were pop cans thrown in the hallway but housekeeping staff (I’m assuming) cleaned it all up by the next morning. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was really good as well as breakfast staff. I would stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone staying in Grand Rapids"

"I have stayed at many wyndhams I am a truck driver and stay at a hotel almost every night that was by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Full of crackheads prostitutes. The room smell like dog pee had a hole in the wall The tub had cracks in it so it was taped up I have photos of everything it was terrible that hotel needs to shut down"

"My husband grew up seeing this place and always wanted to stay here. So when he had to go back up to Michigan I thought it would be a nice surprise to book him a room here. First of all they said they had no rooms available. This was after booking the reservation (through Expedia). They all of a sudden managed to come up with a room - room 330 which was apparently akin to the janitor's closet. I *specifically* paid extra for a city view. He was on the third floor and his view was of the building across the street. Many areas of the room were dirty such as the table and counter spaces. The refrigerator only went down to 50 degrees. And was missing a leg. A guy came up to look at it, 'reset' it and it still only had 3 legs and went down to 50 degrees. The first night he only slept under the blanket but the second night he went under the sheets and spent most of the night not sleeping and scratching himself raw. He is covered in itchy bites of some sort. After the lack of responsiveness on the refrigerator issue he felt there was absolutely no point in taking this up with the front desk, especially since he was checking out this morning anyway. I spent quite a bit of money to do this for him and he could have stayed at the Super 8 and had a better experience and saved me a pile of money."

"We did have a wonderful stay, and Stephanie was extremely helpful! We were disappointed that the pool was so cold. The other disappointment was the cleanliness of our room. There was garbage under our bed from the person before us, and hair all over the walls and tub. Also, the bathtub was backing up, so there was water standing while we were showering. The beds were comfortable. We appreciated the two different types of pillows on the beds. We did enjoy the breakfast, patio area with fire pits, and hot drinks available."

"Wonderful mattress and choice of firm or soft pillows without requesting. Breakfast was hot with a good selection. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and well maintained. Definitely staying here again and again. "
