"My husband recently stayed at this lovely family run hotel and was really impressed. Before his arrival they even called ahead to ask if he’d like them to reserve his tea time slot in case it filled up, such a thoughtful touch. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well looked after. They also went the extra mile by preparing him a packed lunch for the next day, which was much appreciated while he was working away. He’ll definitely be staying here again whenever he’s in the area for work. "

"My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location, nestled in its own tree filled garden, was relaxing and the hotel itself still retained the charm of the family home it was. We ate in the restaurant: the food was excellent, plenty of choice for two vegetarians like us, and the staff were very helpful. We also tried some cocktails which were also excellent. Our stay was relaxing, enjoyable and good value for money."
