"Yes the hotel is dated - but everything else over compensates ! The hotel is genuine beach side with a lovely beach area and pool area for guests. Tranquil garden setting that is so relaxing. Every room has their own garden or balcony and rooms are spacious. The staff were amazing ! The free shuttle to Taormina at all hours is so handy "

It's also a short 15-minute drive away from the vibrant hustle and bustle of Taormina and Savoca village. The staff at the hotel are incredibly welcoming, accommodating, and friendly, which truly enhanced our experience in Sicily. 😊 Our room was spotlessly clean, well-lit, and spacious, offering a partial sea view from the outdoor terrace. Breakfast was delightful, featuring a variety of fruits, cereals, croissants, and more. They even had non-dairy milk, which was perfect for me. For those who prefer not to stay in the midst of bustling tourist areas but still want to be close to various attractions, within walking distance of a lovely beach, and greeted by the hotel's warm and cheerful staff, we highly recommend the Donna Rosa Hotel!"

"Parking was shown as free when we booked, however desk clerk wanted to charge us $10. Air conditioning system was inadequate and could only be set at 22 deg. C at the coldest… it never got cooler than 25 degrees in the room. Great location!!!"
