"Our second stay at the Lensbury and this time it was so much better!
Last time we were in the Ascot part, which seemed dated and run down as well as dirty. The shower over flowed and the drain wasn’t working.
This time we were in the main building, in a refurbished room. It was absolutely gorgeous in comparison to last year!
The hotel is being renovated so the main restaurant was closed and there was a temporary reception.
The grounds are gorgeous, and this year there was an outdoor tv screen showing tennis which we loved. Hopefully it will be there next year too as it was lovely to sit out watching Wimbledon.
There were lots of families enjoying the grounds and playing games. Lovely atmosphere.
There are a couple of pubs close by for food and drinks. And it’s a short walk to a high street which has restaurants, coffee shops and an m&s etc.

Hopefully the rest of the upgrades will be done soon, as the dated areas do let it down a bit, and you shouldn’t really have to be paying extra for “deluxe” rooms when all they’ve done is refurbished the tatty older ones!"
