"The staff went above and beyond to help us arrange tours and guides. The room was super clean and comfortable, with a good kitchen. The property is gorgeous! Just like having a wildlife reserve just outside your door, including good hiking trails to the upper part of the property."

They truly make you feel special throughout your stay and returning the beautiful property every day makes it feels as though you're coming home. The property grounds are beautiful and the restaurant patio is to die for. Not spending every single morning sipping coffee from that restaurant patio would be a mistake. "Stunning views from restaurant and room across as far as lake Arenal. All the food offerings were fantastic from breakfast to evening meals using home grown and home made items. Regular supply of wildlife to keep you entertained. Only slight negative was a reasonably long walk up a steep hill to get to the nearest shops etc but that’s no fault of the hotel. Also be aware there is no A/C in the rooms if you are as lucky as we were with the weather."

"Very comfortable small (best for 2 people) unit with good security and quiet. Jorge was very helpful. Very eco oriented including bathroom tissue disposal. We did not have a car, so selection of where to eat out was limited--otherwise be willing to walk up and down hills or take a taxi (no good public transportation)."

"The property is pretty basic, no frills, just a simple room with a bad bed, a desk and chair, and a mini refrigerator. No A/C, not even a trash container in the room, only in the bathroom. The staff was very supportive and willing to help with everything, but the property needs some upgrades. "
