"I liked that it was within walking distance to the train station. I was going to a concert at Hull City Hall which the hotel was also very handy for. The staff on Reception were friendly and helpful. Also the people waiting on me at breakfast were attentive and nothing was a problem for them. I was made to feel very welcome and the breakfast itself was hot and delicious. I would recommend this hotel very much. "
"This hotel had obviously been a venue in a previous life so our bedroom was enormous and everything was brand new … bed, headboard, curtains, windows, bathroom, floor covering. The room was super clean which was all down to Veronica who had done a superb job. Staff were extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We only saw a group of guys in the huge bar on Saturday night, otherwise it was very quiet. Free parking was definitely an advantage. Will definitely use it again next time...

"I booked the Maze Apartments because it was so close to the venue for the Campfire Country Music Festival and it was spot on. Being only 5 mins walk to the park was great!

"For my purposes of visiting an unwell relative, it was perfect. However, if you don’t know the area it appears a bit run down. The appartments themselves have good security with cctv. I booked through travel site and found communication was not easy. I have a feeling the owners are new to letting their appartments so hopefully teething issues. "After many attemps to make contact on the day of arrival via cobtact number and whats app eventually got some communication. I was told at 2pm on day of arrival(5pm check in) that the appartment was o longer available due to previous occupier causing damage which could not be rectified. Had a exact review not so long ago. Poor communication but managed to sort alternative accomadation so break was not ruined. Be cautious"

"We didn’t stay! As the hotel decided to cancel the evening before the Coldplay concert due to weather! What absolute rubbish. So disappointed and would never consider staying there again. Even paid upfront and booked months in advance. If I had have cancelled within 24 hours I would have been charged!
