Hiking Delight - Premier Waterfront Escape at Twin Canyons Longhorn Ranch

"Our family truly enjoyed the stay. The house was well maintained and extremely well stocked. That was a nice surprise. When you choose to stay here, know there is everything you need to cook/bake with, store leftovers, seasonings, coffee-drip & k-cups, and even flour! Also enjoyed the cattle coming close to the house and wetting a line to catch a few nice bass (no license required/catch and release only). And barn fully of bounce houses for kids to play on. "The host was wonderful and communicative. The previous guest hadnt cleaned the dishes and some of the kitchen things (as the check out instructions state). The cleaner, or someone shut the door to thw washer and it smelled really bad/mildew. This was inconvenient due to needing it to clean clothes for business travel the next week. Booking your home, the washer and dryer &It is a beautiful place away from the crowds, was a little disappointed that the dock access was further and appeared to be on private property."

"There was a number of things to do that were actually available to us but we went to rest and fellowship. Great pantry space for all our foods we brought. Plenty of kitchen utensils. Easy to lite gas grill. The animals visited us upon our 1st day there which was a surprise as they walked by our windows. I now understand the patio privacy iron gate. Comfortable sofas. One more oversized chair would have been perfect for our group of 6. Appreciated the end tables with the outlets on the back for all our devices. Good shower in the king bedroom."

"The house was great for our extended family group of 13. Property was beautiful and having both a pool and the lake was great. We fished, we swam, we grilled. We would definitely stay again."

"We enjoyed fishing in the quiet cove and used the available kayaks and life vests. The home was spacious and a good set up for multiple generations. The deck and hot tub were a bonus. Great getaway!"

"The Villa we stayed in was everything that it was advertised as. It was absolutely spotless inside and the patio was fabulous as well. Matthew and his team were always available and responded quickly with any questions that I had. We actually purchased beef from them to cook one of the nights we were there. We are so glad we did. The beef was amazing. If you have the opportunity to do that, you definitely should. We loved everything about our stay. Thank you for a great girls weekend."
