"This is a charming little hotel - a bit offbeat, artsy, welcoming and in a wonderful location. Sabine, the proprietress, couldn't have been more helpful with recommendations and dinner reservations. While not a full service hotel (ie, no restaurant, lobby or 24-hour reception desk) it was perfect as a homey stay for a few nights in the heart of town."

"What a fantastic find! Newly renovated room that was very clean, comfortable and functional. The staff (who are also the owners) were incredibly helpful and friendly, taking the time to show us on the map the best walks in Avignon, their restaurant recommendations and shopping areas. "This is a renovated old building with eclectic decorations. The hotel was updated, but it almost felt like a 19th century guest house. The breakfast was delicious, and the courtyard where it was offered was wonderful. You can use it at other times to sit in the open air if you choose. "What can I say... The location was fabulous, the accommodation was wonderful and most of all Valere was the perfect host - so friendly and helpful! He has paid so much attention to detail which results in his guests having the perfect stay. The only down side was that we only had one night there on our roadtrip but we will definitely be back for a holiday based at Mas Julien! Thank you Valere - Kate and Mick "
