"Very basic rooms. One person seems to do all work from cooking to serving. Very helpful and friendly. But place badly needs more staff to clean and serve. One man cannot manage. Hotel in gear location to discover town and railway station by foot. Take car driving into hotel carpark as very narrow. Some good local beers on offer at bar. "

"A good stay , room was clean and comfortable with excellent breakfast. Service was excellent with very friendly staff. Unfortunately didn’t do evening meals but sister hotel nearby was very good for an evening meal"

"Staff were friendly. Only downside was hot water ran out after one bath. Had to wait over 20 minutes for breakfast but was worth the wait. "
