"The stay was good, but if you have a room near the freeway, it is pretty loud all night with semi’s going by in cars with loud exhaust I would recommend asking for a room on the other side if you don’t wanna hear vehicles all night, other than that staff was pleasant when we arrived and the place was clean."

"The hotel was in a good location and I felt very safe parking and walking on the “island”. The staff were very responsive and friendly. Unfortunately when we started getting ready for bed we noticed a small swarm of 25-30 gnats flying near the ceiling in the room. I went to the front desk to request a new room. They apologized and informed me that the people in the room the night before must have left the window open, letting the gnats in. They happily found a new room for us and we were able to move and have a nice (gnat free) night sleep. The next morning we walked on the island, seeing a white pelican near the marina, people fishing from the shore, as well as many swarms of gnat. Breakfast was well organized and tasty. I would consider staying again, but would definitely check the room at check in to make sure it was bug free."
