"The pub was lovely on the inside very clean and comfortable. Rooms were lovely like little cottages in the garden. Both our rooms were clean and comfortable. Plenty of coffee tea milk sugar on the welcome tray. Lovely towels and bedding. Really welcoming friendly staff. Good food at a decent price available. The only thing we didn't like was people standing in the open doorway smoking which is only a few feet away from the tables where we were eating so they might as well have been sitting at...

"The room was small but comfortable and clean. It was exceptionally hot though and they had supplied us with a fan. There was only 1 small window which didn't open fully. A good place to rest our heads for the night."

"Ideal quiet position in town centre so easy to walk or use buses nearby.Very old building so stairs awkward (There could be a reminder on website when booking). "the room was an excellent size as well as the bathroom, just a couple of things let it down was torn net curtain in the bedroom, the mastic around the shower needs attention as well as the painted wardrobe. overall the stay was excellent and the breakfast was well presented and it was great value for money"

"Easy self-check in with good email communications. Location is close to Highgate Underground Station so good access to city. Local shops are good for supplies, good curry shop, and the pub near the station has very good food and service. Laundry facilities worked well for our needs. Downsides: - bed is a “double” but it was a little difficult for two adults to get decent sleep without disturbing each other. A Queen bed would have made a huge difference to sleep quality. "The property was wonderful. Our host was very accommodating. Although we early, he allowed us to drop our luggage and even carried our bags up the stairs for us! And when we had questions ( we had just a few) he was very responsive. Thank you forcacwonderful stay"
