They sent a taxi to pick me up; apologized; upgraded my room from basic to presidential; and offered a fantastic meal at no cost. My initial outrage changed into appreciation. "This was a pleasant stay in Tianjin, very convenient and close to subway, shopping centres, restaurants, cafes, etc. The staff and service was superb. Cleaning crew were very friendly and attentive.
