"The place was a perfect base camp for our hikes. It was clean, had no issues to talk to the host about. Will stay here again when I’m in the area"

"The description of the room made it sound perfect for our needs. The smell when you open the door is musty which we assumed is because it's an older place on the coast. There is dust on every rarely used surface or dish and the top of the stove was dirty. We even found splatter on the clock from who knows what. The sheets on the old hard bed actually smelled like soap but the comforter smelled like dirty dog and pillows smelled old and musty. The white towels looked used and dirty. They were...

"The location is amazing. The property is very run down and dated. It doesn’t appear to have anything updated since the 80s…. furniture, appliances, carpet, paint, bedding, door locks, electrical. There was only one plug-in in the entire bedroom, and the two clocks in the main area had dead batteries. Again, the location is fabulous, but don’t expect anything except a nice view. "
