Spectacular panoramic sea views in a prime location just yards away from a host of restaurants, pubs and shops.
Recently converted from the Avalon Hotel the house provides luxury hotel quality accommodation, hot tub and garden terraces perfect for sunbathing, sundowners or a BBQ in the Summer or cozying around the wood burner in the bar during Winter.

Dogs The Avalon is dog friendly. We want our four legged guests to enjoy their stay as much as you. Beds and bowls are provided but please note there is a charge of £40/dog per stay to enable us to deep clean after your stay. The garden is walled, fenced, gated for dogs but use at your own risk and check it is suitably secure for your dogs, we don't take any responsibility for Houdinis ! Please clean up. We hope your dogs don't cause any damage which will have to be deducted from your security deposit. We would appreciate you contacting us with any problems so repairs can be made.

Guest Access You have full access to the house and everything in it. Gate and front door entry by electronic keypad; mobile key/code will be sent on day of arrival.
Departure & Arrival The Avalon is large property and we appreciate you leaving promptly at 10am to allow time for our team of professional cleaners to make the house spotless. Arrival time is 5pm, if you arrive early bags may be left in the hallway but please stay out of the way so we can prepare the house for you.

Spacious property in lovely location. Great rooms, comfy beds and pristine bed linen and towels. Lovely well equipped kitchen, however, the ovens could do with a good clean.
The house was a perfect location and the views were amazing, too good to be fully appreciated by camera pictures! We loved the wood fired hot tub, popping across the road for pasties, wonderful walks with the dogs.The weather was so good for April, we spent a lot of time sitting outside in the garden and the evenings were spent in our own bar area!
Staying at The Avalon was a delight. The views are second to none and the walks along the coast are spectacular. The village has everything you need within walking distance and yet is quiet and peaceful at the same time. We stayed with our entire family (3 generations) of 16 people and were easily and comfortably accommodated. The cleanliness of the property was impeccable and attention was paid to every detail for comfort. Our favorite stay in our time in the UK.
This was a very comfortable house for a large family - with a spacious garden and well appointed rooms. In The kitchen was well equipped for mass catering, and the views from the north facing were stunning and uninterrupted. .
The property managers were most helpful which allowed our stay to be so enjoyable.
A wonderful property, fully equipped with everything needed for a great stay with 13 friends. Outstanding views from the terrace, enough space for all our cars and a perfect location for the village and castle. Very spacious interior, the bar was very popular! The coastal path was nearby, ideal as a base for walking. Communication and advice from the hosts was much appreciated, we felt very welcome. Would highly recommend to anyone wishing to visit the area, to book this marvellous property.
The house was fantastic great location and views . The bar area was brilliant for us all to socialize as was kitchen. Great en suite rooms for all. The downside was house was very dusty and no welcome pack. I think the carpets need replacing as there a little worn or stained in certain areas . All that said we had a great stay and would certainly visit again.
We booked The Avalon for a multi generational family holiday with 12 adults, two children, two babies and 3 dogs! The layout and facilities were perfect for us. It is rare to find a large property with a bathroom for every room. The Avalon had everything we needed and is very well equipped. The thoughtful additions such as travel cots, high chairs, dog bowls and dog beds made everything a little easier. The property was clean and well maintained and the communication with Darren and Vikki was excellent. The views are stunning and the location is perfect with everything you need within a few minutes walk. Despite our Easter rain we had a lovely time and will definitely be back again in the future.
Excellent location and property just what we needed to celebrate a wedding. A few little issues, but these were sorted asap by Darren.Would book again.
We stayed at The Avalon for a family get away for 3 nights. The property is beautiful. It had lots of space for all 16 of us. The only suggestion I would make is to put another comfy sofa in the bar area so larger groups can comfortably relax in the space in the evenings. Just a suggestion.
Communication with the owners was great from when we made the booking till we left. I would definitely recommend staying in the property.
The property is nicely located in the centre of Tintagel with a wonderful view. The rooms are all good sizes, everything was clean and in good working order, and the owner responded quickly to queries.

This must be one of our best family holidays. The house was brilliant with all the necessities and the scenery was just amazing. Our memorable moments have to be the amazing scenic nature walks we did at sunrise and at sunset with the whole family.

Fantastic week in Tintagel. Wonderful house with amazing views. The house was spotlessly clean with plenty of room for 16 adults and older teens.
Location is perfect for costal walks from the door. Short drive to beaches and walking distance to cafes, shops and pubs.
We were also blessed with perfect weather.
Wish we could have stayed another week.
